Your Song On The Rainy Pavement

It's always raining in my head,
Even when the sun shines.
The pouring rain brings the memories of distant days.
The rain drenching us as we fall
Into the ocean of love all over again.
It's pouring outside,
I'm on my window sill
Listening to your song on the pavement.

You make the rain sound enticing!

Normally I prefer the sun but you make the rain sound enticing! You are on a roll right now with your writing. Welcome and hail to the new resident superstar! Consider me a fan in the first degree!

The Rain of Life

The sun is nice. But to me there is just something about the rain that attracts me. Walking in a summer shower seems to sooth me far greater than any pool or lake. It marks the end of a long winter season and melts away the snow. The rain, like the sun, brings life to the earth. We can live, to an extent, without the sun; but without water from the skies above, survive long we shall not. And also thank you for promoting me to superstar status, also the rain has been a prevailing theme in many of my past works if you were interested in combing through them.

inspiration of thought

Forced slowing down of the hurried ways.. a moment of pause, time for memories and cleansing.
.....I love the rain
