A Little Help To Cross The Chasm
16 May, 2009

Can anybody take my decisions just for today?
Maybe carry my bag and my books, maybe
Look after me and drive me somewhere near the sea.

Can anybody talk to me about simple things?
Maybe make me laugh, tell me jokes, maybe
Give me a lift to hope and to madness.
Maybe just fill my heart with happiness.

Can anybody open the door to me?
Can anybody open his heart, his soul
And his hands while we cry together?
Can anybody teach me literature and art?
Can anybody make me forget about the weather?

Can anybody fill my mind with a possible dream
And make my eyes gleam?
Can anybody absolve me of this cruel restlessness?
Can anybody protect me against hopelessness?

Who can hear the answers inside me?
Who can unchain my soul and set me free?
