Nothing Left But Tough Love
5 June, 2009

Giving you chance after chance
Living on a prayer that you'll see my love
How many times can you break my heart

Talking you down from that scary place
Reminding you I am always here for you
How many ways can you break my heart

Doing everything I know to touch you
Trying to find your well hidden feelings
Why must I keep letting you break my heart

It's time to change the rules
It's time to think about me
It's time to give up and move on

Listened to your lies too many times
Excuse after excuse you hold me down
How many times must I say I love you

Waiting for you to come around
Wanting you to see how much I care
How many ways I've tried to love you

I've said all that there is to say
You want to live in your private reality
Why can't you see how much I love you

Words that crush to tears
Your venom of your black widow fears
It's time to let go and move on

It's time to change the rules
It's time to think about me
It's time to give up and move on

Tough-Love it's time to move on

------- Author's Notes -------

Some times you just have to say "No More" in order to stop enabling the behavior..
but it doesn't stop the pain.
