I found out today that you're a boy
A male version of sweetness, love and joy
I'm so anxious to see you and hold you so tight
I promise I'll always be there and make everything alright
I've realized only today that I'll never again be alone
In your smile I'll have love and in your eyes I'll have home
I can't wait to hear you cry or wipe away your first tears
I can't wait for your calm when it's my voice you hear
You're my healthy baby boy who, on the inside, plays with his feet
Will you enjoy that later on or prefer a bouncy seat
You already have such a personality but I can't wait to hear your laugh
You're such a beautiful blessing that I can't wait to have
