Island Of Fire

The island looked like it had been here since time immortal, when i was washed up on the sand, I woke up to see a beautiful jungle surrounding me. I staggered to my feet and wandered into a cave for protection from the scorching sun. On the walls of the cave, were drawings probably drawn by men long ago. There was one drawing that caught my eye. It was of a dragon like monster with fire comming out of it's nostrils.

The story i'm going to tell you is related to that drawing. I left that cave, and walked through the green jungle, eating the greenry and drinking the water in the streams, I had looked for some type of life on the island, but I could find none, not even an insect. The more I wandered the more I realized I was on an uncharted island in the middle of the ocean.

All of a sudden the monster that's picture was drawn in the cave appeared, It looked at me as if it had never seen a creature like me before, and I certainly had never seen anything like it. It looked at me for a few seconds and then fire came out of it's nostrils. It was then I started running, it was right behind me, It must have gotten tired, the flames out of it's nostrils were getting larger as it kept chasing me. The flames were hitting the tree trunks. And then they made contact with some leaves, a fire started. It didn't take long for it to spread to other trees and bushes, but the monster kept chasing me.

Soon the fire spread to the whole island. The monster must have been killed in the fire for it was no longer chasing me. I stood at the ocean as long as I could. The fire was so close the heat was devestating. I had no choice but to dive into the cool ocean. I swam off shore for what seemed like an eternity, then a helicopter that was looking for survivors of my ship flew over my head, it lowered a cable and lifted me to safety. I have told this story to many people but no one believes me. Do you?
