vinebar

in a strange place tonight...
dark paths,
no streetlights,
heavy vegetation all around,
no others within sight or hearing,
the air is heavy,
damp,
the feeling is as if i am inside a living thing,
and i hear it breathing,
feel it breathing,
and inside this thing,
it is louder than my thoughts,
pounding my mind into a numbing blank...
i don't want to go any further,
i don't want to go back,
i just want to
stop.
