He juts his neck out
Further than the rest
Above,
In the aqua blue
Parts of his body,
White, erased with
Blue
The prettiest hue
Wingless,
He looks straight on
Missing the arch
And the blue rock embedded
In peach below
His mouth and eye slowly begin
To open
His body, now nothing but a smear
Until the blue gradually
Engulfs him,
Swallowing him.

He is no more.

The massive claws of blue and white
Chase after once was
Forming a stilled surge
Like The Nothing
from
"The Never Ending Story"
Angry, it looks
Although 'it' is personified
Still, the lines in between
Form combs, as the blue
Slips through it's grip
Looking like one big
Esophagus now
Choking on its likeness
Unable to swallow
The unseen

Hey Mike! Thanks poet!

Miiike! Thanks for the comment! You're far too kind. We both know, you're the real poet here. Kudos to you.

Here's the break down of what the poem is about. I was doing school work at the university, when I happened to look out at the evening sky, and saw that a piece of cloud resembled a bird, more like an ostrich. The blue in the poem represents the blue sky, and the color of peach as well. The arch was another piece of cloud in the sky. I mean, I was completely mesmerized. But, as we all know, pictures in the sky don't last long. Thus, the white clouds gradually began to disappear admist all that blue. Darnit.

Omg ;o! That is actually an amazing concept. You're far too modest!! Lol. This is my favourite poem of yours by far.
