Peek-a-boo Daddy

PEEK-A-BOO DADDY ! I saw you sneaking in.
You'd wait till I was sleeping and saw my peaceful grin.
You would gather me up so gently and raise me to the sky.
Asking the Lord to bless me and never let me cry.

PEEK-A-BOO DADDY! I saw you standing by.
When I wanted to do it my way you always let me try.
You'd patch me up with band aids and raise me to the sky.
Asking the Lord to bless me and never let me cry.

PEEK-A-BOO DADDY! I saw you cheer me on.
Even though I lost sometimes and all of hope was gone.
You would say I did my best and raise me to the sky.
Asking the Lord to bless me and never let me cry.

PEEK-A-BOO DADDY! I saw you growing thin.
The doctor's said to stay near by and try to comfort him.
I said I love you Daddy and raised him to the sky.
Asking the Lord to bless him and never let him cry...
