A Thousand Beautiful Things

Lovely words woven out if sugarcane and honey
I fish slowly from your sweet lips and tender eyes
as I unzip my silent night whispering your name
when my mind wanders among the butterflies.

I will never find words to explain this delicate feeling
the moon hides as we melt together in eternal sighs.
Savouring magical words of passion, lust sends us on
a journey towards sacred pleasure and divine delights.

A thousand beautiful things we harvest together
As we kiss the sun and ride languid Venus and Mars.
You shower me with your love and I forget myself
in your hands of myrtle, in your sheets of satin stars.

the stars were all aligned.....

....the stars were all aligned in significance the day you were born to write!

A great love poem

The images of love are delicately poised in poetic way.I liked the metaphors used in the poem. Indeed love is rediscovered in a celestial way.
