Swirling Swirling
Author: Elizabeth Squires

vinebar

swirling
swirling
ever swirling
into the eye of the sea

rolling
rolling
ever rolling
to the fathoms deep

sweeping mirk gathers there
capturing all that sinks
wooden hulls and seagulls
buried low beneath

dark is this place
and none return
they're victims
forever more

swirling
swirling
ever swirling

rolling
rolling
ever rolling
down to the fathoms floor

...this sounds like my.....

..this sounds like my kind of place - the poetic rhythm of your words make me feel at home.
