To all my Hunter Friends

Day 1 OF HUNTING SEASON

A friend of mine left me a message during hunting season basically saying they were happy they shot a few deer and have some food for the winter....
. . . "because it's 1865 and it's totally necessary"...

they are good friends.. but.. im never shy about saying what i feel about anything...
so heres what i replied to my friends.. i apologize if i ruined their day...

my reply: venison is good.. im not gonna say it's not.. but.. as long as you don't call it "game"
because honestly - - when you hide up on a perch 25ft above an animal that has no clue your there and you shoot it with a gun which is no match for anything except maybe a big black bear,, yeah there's no skill.

- - no game is played ever where both parties don't know whats going on and one player has 100% entire advantage..

- - one more thing.. unless you go into the woods, pick up a rock and a large stick and chase the deer down.. then hunting is not hunting..

- - -its about as good as waking somebody up with a shotgun in there face in their own home.. then BLAM! now ya gots some good eats.. deer are probably the only animal. that if left in the wild in some element where it's not generally used to.. and left alone.. it could survive the longest.. and yes over humans..

- - -there's more skill in shooting a cat in the woods then a big large object that isn't paying any attention.

good job on your buck!

Day 2 of hunting season

THEY ASKED if i ever hunted...also told there was some skill in hunting because you had to have patience.and sniff the deer out..

my reply- - - - - (once again,, i apologize if some idiots out there take what i say in the literal sense. I'm not an idiot.. don't be an idiot)

- - - - -nice.. no i don't kill animals.therefore i don't hunt.. skill comes in hitting a baseball at 98 mph.. or scoring a goal with a stick.. not shooting a deer you wait for that comes across you in the middle of the woods which is where they live..

- - - - im gonna go into somebodies living room, wait behind their couch and then smell for them.. listen quietly and then when they least expect it.. BLAM! hmm .. same thing basically.. wait now ill go and take the dead body of the person and put it over my pickup .. all guts and blood hanging everywhere to show people the 200lb man i shot in his own home..

. im one of those guys if ya haven't figured that out by now.. if i was on a highway going 80 mph and i had to swerve to miss a guy and hit a deer or miss the deer and hit the guy.. I'd probably hit the guy, cause whats the guy doing standing in the middle of a lane on the Highway and plus...THAT'S population control. At least the deer is standing there wondering where the HELL did my tree go that I marked last week..

Day 3 of Hunting Season

.... today this epic battle continued :) After work YOU SAID IN A message that I have no clue what im saying and have no idea why hunters hunt...

My reply : - - - - I know exactly why hunters hunt. "good food and population control"

.. but basically if you think about it .. if we didn't build our homes in their forest then there'd be no reason for population control..

We are the only species that can consider itself a parasite. The basic definition is a living organism that feeds off of every living thing around it in any way possible until there is nothing left. Then we all parish. (Population Control) as an excuse for hunting. Well I agree a deer hitting a car sucks. Doesn't feel to good to either the deer or the human. But again. If we didn't pave a road in the middle of the woods, knock down 10,000 acres of trees a day for neighborhoods full of ridiculous housing developments. Then there would be no need for this so called "Population Control".

Day 4 Of Hunting Season:

YOU POINTED out to me that we'd have to move into the woods because we have overpopulated cities..

- - - - - - - (that's because were retarded)

in Japan and other nations.. which is by the way about the size of NY and PA, they are much healthier, also have managed to live with deer, in fact if you walk about the streets anywhere in Japan you can walk up to deer and pet them as if they were pets. If other nations can figure it out.. why cant we. We have over populated cities because we have a lot of morons living in cities. Our government is corrupt and several other pertaining issues that lead to over population. But we wont get into that cause that's not a don't shoot deer topic.

We run over squirrels and chipmunks and field mice everyday in NY, we don't like too but it happens. The population of squirrels , chipmunks and field mice is like 1000 - 1 when it comes to deer, but.. we don't see everybody strapping on their camo, covering their selves up with chipmunk piss, and hiding in little holes to go chipmunk hunting to "control a population" It only seems to be a problem when it comes to deer.

YOU SAY - well Deer hurt you worse in car accidents..

- - - - - ACTUALLY if you look the statistic's up.. . NO your wrong... You naturally swerve to avoid hitting anything.. doesn't matter the size of the object in the road from a brown paper bag to a Moose,... you yourself is what causes the accident.

whole heartedly agree

To me I always thought when I heard guys bragging about what they got while hunting they are cold hearted and cowardly shooting an un armed target, the real brave ones are our soldiers who have to take the chance of thiet target shooting back.
