We Created These Dark Clouds

Naive,
pretend,
hurt,
cannot,
will not,
nothing we can do,
watch as it goes by,
shall not move,
ignorant,
dissipated,
blind eye,
looking around,
shrugging shoulder,
shaking our heads back and forth,
falling to our knees,
head between our arms,
hands holding our sorrows,
tears running deeper than any devastation could.
Scared,
turmoil,
bankruptcy's the new get debt free quick card,
looking back,
just because we are walking forward doesn't mean we are moving forward,
scars that continue to bleed long after they have healed.

Liberty in a country where nobody is feeling liberated. The few do a lot but can only do so much, we need America the machine to step up because we are trying to channel this water back to its home, and all we've got is a few shovels.

A president elected, People blinded by a catastrophic event, one we'll never forget, but we'll never get past, jumping head first into that waste "he called" a war, that left lives ruined after they came back. Now we spend trillions fixing up what we destroyed but have excuses after excuses why we cant put back together a piece of history from 5 years ago in New Orleans.

Health care is all over the place, pathetic, no other word, HEALTH where! really? that's the biggest topic we can talk about, where is health care going to help us when jobs are being cut left and right in Hospitals. Guess where going to have to fix ourselves. "only the strong survive"

Walking out your front door, getting your mail and newspaper, walking back into your house, locking the door behind you, shutting your blinds, keeping the light outside, going into your basement, shutting a random door, then wrapping up in a blanket, trying your hardest to just forget, ignore and not see anything that truly is happening outside of your lives. But your still trying to live it.

Almost inexcusable to bring a child into this world now a days with everything that's happening. Eight years ago a joke on a movie with some "hillbilly" talking about how there's going to be a revolution, then a bunch of people laughing at this "hillbilly". Doesn't sound so funny now.

Either live where there isn't and fend for yourself,
or live with the rest, and see how much anger can fill up your life.

"I pledge allegiance" to what? a country divided by 2 colors, and people in-between colors that are colorblind themselves.

"To the flag of the United States of America" - like we're all united, After 9/11 we were, we like to feel that we are, but plain and simple, we fear, even the government has warning colored labels on how scared we should be. So if it's red today then man you really should bunker down.

"And to the republic for which it stands" that's nice, yes we are a republic, a bunch of people that make our own rules, a bunch of people that watch our money get wasted, taken, and stolen from the people that we are supposed to fear and trust all at once. Well if a gun is to my head and a guy says "give me all your money or ill shoot" I guess that's trusting that i wont get shot if i give him the money. Only this time, your basically getting shot everyday over and over, you feel the pain but have to continue on with your existence.

"one nation" HAAA! what! ?? since when? we worry about every other nation but our own, if the entire world was a tropical rain forest the entire 'USSR' "oops" i mean USA would be the nastiest swamp filled with ferocious crocodiles.

"under god" - nothing here to say except, that in the "pledge" that kids say in schools like they are being programmed, there should be a "comma" in-between one nation and under god.

indivisible - Yep, unless it affects you personally

"with liberty and justice for all" - worst part of the pledge right there. Justice. Justice?? In a country where they say you are innocent till you are proven guilty, tell me one person who feels that way, you can be next to a saint, perfect specimen, one person doesn't like how you look at them, they make up some crazy story, next thing you know, your pleading for your life, your thrown in jail and have to pay money to get let out before you can even hope the jury of "their" peers gives you a break. And if your lawyer isn't as good as "their" lawyer, looks like your stuck and your life was a waste. More like guilty until proven innocent.

Now, im not somebody who hates, in fact i love where I live, I love the country I live in, Ill whole heatedly admit that I don't have the mental strength to fight in a war and im glad that we have people willing to do this for us. Ill even agree that im glad we have laws that protect. But that's why i mention all of this, the reality, the bogus in your face reality, spitting at you in the face every morning when you look at any front page of any newspaper. It's like they wanna keep you down, so you cant move forward.

I love god, i love America, i love the people that make our country so nice, but what i don't love,is where I see this country going.

If America's a garden, we need to figure out how to water it, because it's drying up fast. And pretty soon we'll just be left with weeds.

EXCELLENT!

Fantastic thoughts from a whole new angle - very well done - gives a person something to really think about - hopefully folks will do just that!
