Patience

Patience is a virtue
But not always the easiest one to display
Patience can be fleeting
But is something that we all need to have
And at some point learn to master

Patience is something that we all struggle with
Struggle to find the peace required
To wait for the proper time and place,
To wait for the right moment in time,
To wait for the answers to come

But, how long do we wait for the right moment to appear,
How long do we wait for the "stars to align"
And provide us the answers we are seeking?

That is an elusive question to answer
For every person, every question and every situation is unique
We all have the capacity to be patient
We sometimes lose the ability to do so

The tunnel we all travel in can be a very long one
And the light at the end of it may not always be visible
But, if you have enough trust, calm and patience
That light will get a little brighter every day
Until the day you emerge from the tunnel
Stronger for the journey
And safe in the realization
That patience does eventually pay off

And, if for some reason,
The light at the end of the tunnel does not provide
The answers you were hoping for,
Maybe the questions you were asking were the wrong ones
And the answers will point you in the right direction
