Best Friends

I have lost two of
My Best friends
One was my dear father
The other one was
My dearest big brother
I want all to know
How much I loved them so
I feel so sad and so alone
I'm here starring up at the
Moon shining so bright
In the wee wee hours
Of this lonely night
I feel a breeze in the wind
It's your voices I'm hearing
Over and over and over again
Saying give it some time
Your tender heart will mend
Telling me some how someday
We see each other again

------- Author's Notes -------

I have dedicated this poem to my Father whom I lost in March of 2010 and Big Brother Ben Laney of June 2010.

Friends/family

Sorry for your recent loss of your loved ones.. I remember when my father passed away I could hear his voice so clearly. The pain from the memories at first turned to memories of comfort after some times... Now I relish the blessings of so many good memories.. Hopefully the pain will pass quickly and the healing will begin... Blessings to you
