The Man In My Dreams

I met a man a year ago, he met me in my dreams
He told me to look through his eyes, because nothings what it seems.

He told me what to look for, showed me when to run,
Even warned me that the road I take would face a loaded gun.

He kissed me as he held me, said that he would be my guide,
Told me that he'd be there for me the nights which I would hide.

He promised me he'd be back, but never promised when,
Then Christmas came around, and I met this man again.

Everything this man had told me, seemed to come true,
and everytime he came to me, my love for him just grew.

Promises were given to me, and I believed it was fate,
I knew he'd be there so I'd call for him then just wait.

I quickly fell in love, even faster fell apart,
cause the only man Ive ever trusted quickly broke my heart.

One amazing kiss, thats all there ever was,
I wish I could tell him what his touch really does...

3 weeks and 8 months, I still love my Christmas ghost,
The feeling of completeness is what I miss the most.

Love me, hurt me, just tell me one more lie,
cause every night you still visit me, and every night I cry..

And every night I wish for your touch as you visit me in my dreams,
But your the one that warned me..Nothings as it seems..
