Wipe Those Tears Away
20 April, 2011
Author: Elizabeth Squires

vinebar

wipe those tears away
let them not mar your day
deep is the hurt you feel
and a betrayed heart
needs time to heal

an untrue love isn't worth
the tears that you've shed
tomorrow is a new dawn
with possibilities ahead

wipe those tears away
let them not mar your day
usher to your side a virtuous heart
one that wont rend apart
