Satisfied At Three

My emotions
start at midnight
they are usually
satisfied at three.
the lies and the dark
in between you and me.
it's a shape of a yield sign
three points of no return
it puts me in a bind
and the morning leaves me to burn.

i like this

Hey Mental,

I wonder why emotions like depression, anger and sadness increase around night time into the wee hours of the morning? That's a mystery to me. Everything seems to happen around midnight. Thoughts can keep you awake until you are an insomniac - well, maybe that's just me.

Maybe I'm slow, but what are lines 5-10 saying?

I like how this made me think. I'm thinking so hard, I need help understanding the bottom half.

sleepless nights

turning off the mind of the twists and turns of life and our relationships when it wants to play with the thoughts. Sometimes it's hard to lay still and harder still to wake when the thought's have played all night... I enjoyed this one..
