My Inspiration

Feeding on your inspiration
my block is removed
my fingers find the words
and I am released
The poet in me feels free
it's feelings intrigued
inspired to crossover my wall
and reach a higher place
Not realizing you were needed
to light the ceremonial fires
to dance in the darkness
to live once again
