Alone

No friends, no nothing
Except animals filled with stuffing
But I’d rather have something real
Someone who can feel
What I share
Expecting them to care
Since we are together
Because two is always better
Than one
One can’t do it alone
Well this one,
Can’t speak for everyone
Cause having no one
As a friend or confidant
Makes you lose it
Because you’re on an island
In the real world
With no one on it but you
With no one to talk to
And it’s normal to argue
Since no two people
Agree all the time
They can be as close as conjoined twins
And would still like to be away from each other
It’s normal to want space
Like a child wanting independence from his mother
It’s normal to want time alone to think
But not to stay alone
Or the ship built will sink
The ship that is guaranteed
To sail on some rocky seas
And withstand some wailing winds
The relationship may come close to the lions’ den
But God can shut the lions’ mouths
From devouring the happiness
The connection doesn’t have to break
Like a phone in an area of bad reception
Two friends can learn to mend
Until they are close to each other again
Respect, honesty and trust is expected
Along with understanding
Basically the whole nine
Is expected to make the love bestowed feel divine
Hoping confirmation or some sort of sign
From God will glow like sunshine
So you can’t miss the miracle
If and when it comes into your life
Because if and when it comes
You’ll know it isn’t a mistake
Love sent from Heaven doesn’t involve heartbreak
Whichever shoulder God sends for you to cry on
Will be the person meant to be
In your life for more than a season
If I’m lonely now, then maybe there’s a reason
Maybe there’s a blessing in the wait
Maybe this is yet another test of my faith

Yes indeed God almighty

Hey Ing. Thank you for your support. It's encouraging when writers can lift each other up during tough times.
