Graceful Flight

I hear him..the whistling sound..
I know I can tell..when hes around
perched up high.. pruning.feathers
strong as steel...
waiting anxiously for his morning meal
I pack his favorite bite in a plastic wrap
fling it across high up in the air
in seconds he takes his regal flair
zooming down gracefully
he clutches his scrap...
heads towards his usual abode
starts nipping devouring the
long awaited food....
And as I watch him soar above high
looking above towards the sky
marveling at the lightening speed of his pace
my magnificent eagle and...
his flight of grace....

just curious?

Does the plastic wrap get in the way of their meal? Nice poem -- I like my chickadee's that made a nest in the flower basket.

master of D'Art

Remember they are Hunters and know the art of disecting the skin from the bones of their prey..the same way a mere plastic wrap is no big deal. I have seen em firmly holding the wrap with one claw..and tearing away the plastic to make way to the meat.
..chickadee! how lovely!
