Lost..

Tears will fall.
Smiles, will fade
Is anyone happy ever?
Is it all a game?

Love shall expire,
Emotions will wither.
with a titanium heart
love is bitter

If love means war
then I've already lost
who can keep up?
In a world so 'soft'

Liars and cheaters exposed everyday,
life if full of politicians,
everything is always 'explained'

I find it hard to believe
that i am still so naive
to think its all been a dream.

Deep red rivers of love
immense dark seas of hate.

Where do i belong?
Where have i come from?

When will i start to believe?
That whats meant to be will be?

I'll balance on a tight rope
with no end in sight,
continue searching
leap into the night.

------- Author's Notes -------

but your self-expression's great

It's like a where-do-I-fit-in-amongst-all-the-chaos type of poem. I see such themes as masquerade, loneliness, faith and survival in this one. As I read some of your lines, I feel what you're talking about. My category may not have been love, but my words would probably look like yours. I can def relate.
