this year - a continuing exploration of mind -
aiming for the summit -
many detours -
i traveled into
a forgotten abyss of memory -
photographs
epic movies
and sequels of family history sped by -
pictures amd memorys merged and formed holograms.

i hitch hiked through the seasons
wore out many shoes -

i stood in the pouring rain
in the old city
and the new lime green leaves popped
out
spring time freshness

pleasure abounded
barcarolle played -
the words floated happiness
around my aura
as i caressed the old cobblestones
of brilliant blue hue -
watching myself and you
sitting under a canopy,
both in our own fantasy

summertime
and
i continued my quest
on narrow streets
and with a slowness of pace.

i wandered in alleyways
of painted walls and poetry
and saw notes
drifting from the old bricks.

my hair grew long
and lustrous and tangled
as the autumn sun shine poured onto
crimson tree lined streets -
heart beats -

yet a cold wind was blowing
premonition
whispered warnings
i walked away from you and up
a gorgeous hill of softy covered snow -
almost winter -
i stood in awe
watching ice softly falling from
crystallized trees -
such beauty-

and then

i stood on the ice of the lake -
silent snow -
alone
in the
blue twilight -

waiting for the lake to merge with the skies...

waiting for the new year...
