You Were Ready
You were ready for love
And I was ready to give it
You were ready to jump in
And I was barley ready for it
You wanted someone there to call your own
I didn't know what I wanted
You tried to find happiness through me
And in that motive you lost the true connection
That I thought I felt when we first held hands
Was it all for Nothing?
Or were you just Dreaming?
Dreaming that I would fall in love with you Right away?
And I felt smothered
I lost that connection
Through your over motivation
Your rush the the Conclusion
That I was some love Allusion
To call your own and smother
Your rush to the Decision
Did you ever think that maybe , Just Maybe....
I Wouldn't always and forever stay your Baby?
Well now don't ya see I'm not your baby.....
