I saw time pass me by
As I was lazing beside a seaside fountain
Pass me by like a flash of a lightning
Pass me by like the mist over the mountains

Most of us let time control our lives
We get bewildered by its changes
But few have known the power of time in its true form
Few have been blessed with wisdom of the sages

Time is a powerful entity
Time is an eternal force
Its’ all consuming energy
Make humans age and wipes people's woes

Time is a healer to many
In moments of trouble that they have seen
A panacea handled to humanity
A change so powerful, a change so serene

Times have changed with time
And so they always will
Time waits for no one
It moves on, even if were to stand still

Time ages the young
As they grow old and wither
Time shines like a bright rainbow
Glowing in the sky on a rainy weather

Time foretells the future
Time is a guardian spirit
Time can never be forgotten
As it ticks turning seconds into minutes..

Tic, tic, tic
No one knows what makes time tick
But, it keeps unfolding its secrets
Like the wax that melts from a candle's wick.
