I came here hoping to find you here, but as i take an honest look at my life i see no evidence of you. I'm lost in a cold cruel world in search of a father i've never seen, a father i've never known, a father who claims to know every hair on my head, but a father i do not know and one who does not know me. I am the bastard child of the invisible man.

See i've been to his house, but he was never home, i called and i called and never got a response. Sent prayer after prayer and never got an answer, and yet based on the words of some con-artist, with a robe a bible and a pulpit. Some ole slick a_ _ reverend just tryin to get rich, talkin bout holiness, honesty and how much you love me. Father i have been on this ride for such a long time and i just wanna know..are you really there, or am i here going crazy merely talkin to myself?

See, i've sat in the pews, in those buildings and watched the strong prey on the weak. Where they play games with your emotions, creating a religious atmosphere, giving you a temporary emotional high. Just long enough for the self-proclaimed spiritual had to be much quicker than the ill-informed carnal eye.

But ladies and gentlemen, the doors of the church are now opened and inside is just like outside ain't a damned thing changed. The rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, people still lying people still dying, aggressively manipulated by master manipulators. Now as for me all i want is truth not someone's distortion or perversion of it, but a truth i can believe in, and so i came here hoping to find you here, but as i take a good look at this life i see no evidence of you.
