Mother's Tears
3 August, 2012
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

Again I am left with wasted tears
Nothing changes
The hurt felt in a mother's heart
As again it's broken by lies

You say I don't understand
You're right I don't
You were raised better
To know right from wrong

Venomous attention seeking
Poisons to the relationship
Killing off the 'like' that remains
And in place of love is only hurt

I cry my tears in disappointment
Of what could be, and should be
You had it all and don't even know
It's just so hard watching your descent
