Brighten My Skies

i sit on a rock near a dull dismal sea
i gaze out at the vast intrepid waters, watching the sun recede into is depths
i think of you
for you are the only such beauty which i can compare
a hand on my shoulder jolts me
as i turn and recognize my dismal place is hit with a sudden blast of brilliance
the gray sky comes alive with the radiant sun and the waves grow and become playful
then as she sits there speaking her fealings, my world returns to its dismal state
the sun secedes and the waves die
yet my world continues to get worse
.my gray skies turn to ebony pouting tear drop kisses
the waves then become violent crashing
i leave and plant my feet in the newly made mud of the beach and yell
i stand there with arms out-streached
screaming crying pleading for you to bright my skies again
out of the corner of my eye i see a flicker
it is her brightening some one elses skies
this makes me die inside and i then am overwhelmed by joy
i realize that she is now happy and this brightens my skies a shade
