Love is just a word
forged by a poets pen
it holds no substantial meaning
and always comes to a bitter end

'I love you' is only to manipulate
a person into being what you want them to be
it's something that should be shown
at least that is how it feels to me

So please, no more 'I love you's'
the meaning is lost with you
it hurts deeper each time you say it
knowing your words are untrue
