The King

There once was a king who sat on a throne
across the land his rantings were known
with promises unkept
he seemed most inept
his ego was way overblown

He surrounded himself with lots of friends
thinking, his logic, they would surely defend
unknowest to him
the chances were slim
people thought him a donkey's rear end
