Twenty Six Years by Mental

poetry found me
twenty six years a go from date
my first poem was about love and lust
and not about hate.
I have treasured this gift
for all these years
through all the heartaches
through all the tears
through all the love
and all the fears.
happy anniversary my gift
with many more
through my downs and lifts.

it's hard to believe it was 26 years a go since my first poem. but I do treasure it and enjoy it.
