Life in a cubicle is a story
A story of a young girl's dream
A dream that starts off ordinary
A journey of work that has never been

Years of effort had paid off
It was like a wish come true
She was chosen as the head of the company
It was time to fill someone else's shoes

This moment brought tears to her eyes
Eyes that saw everything that is
She had built the company's reputation
And, now she was the captain of the ship

Her thoughts raced back to her past
To a time that she had just got married
While the rest of her clan had let time pass by
She designed her future with confidence that she carried

Women at work admire her courage
And get inspired to lead the herd
She was the perfect living example
She was like the phoenix bird

This world needs more women leaders
Who change the way things work
Leadership is not just a man's game
Nor is a right that we hold from birth

Times are changing to this fact
As we find more women who lead the way
A woman is a face of our social fabric
A symbol of grace that is here to stay..
