Grampa's Commercial

You know that commercial about coffee....
yeah - the one that gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling
of niceness....
where the guy comes home from somewhere,
college, or whatever,
in the early morning hours,
and he's making coffee?
Well - forget that one!

How about the grampa,
with what little hair he has left all disheveled,
waking up in the middle of the early morning
to go to the bathroom,
then when he comes out
he goes to the kitchen and makes a pot of coffee,
and waits for it to finish going through,
smelling the good smell of strong coffee,
eating a couple cookies while he waits,
scratching the dog's head,
because whenever someone's in the kitchen,
the dog, just naturally,
has to be there in case something drops on the floor...
then the cat jumps up on the counter,
even though it's not supposed to be up there,
but a cat is a cat, and cats do that,
and the grampa scratches the back of the cat's head
and the cat leans into it and purrs...
and finally the coffee's done,
and the grampa pours himself a cup....
and puts some sugar and some cream into it
and then goes to the computer room
and types this.....?
Yeah - now doesn't that give you a better warm, fuzzy feeling
than that other commercial?
