I woke up today just like everyday
Oh man, how wrong I was
Today was different, still is different
I can still hear the screams mixed in the sounds of bullets
Still see the bloods mixed in sands

I can't close my eyes without seeing the eyes
of the lifeless man with blood dripping from his head
The torn up flesh of the young child
And the fear in her parents eyes

I woke up today, expecting it to be like everyday
But I saw a man die
This memory I will live with for the rest of my life
Cause today wasn't like everyday at all
