Old School Bully

He was always on the prowl for someone's lunch money.
Always trying to take someone's sweet honey.
Those days a person didn't have to die.
Biggest hurt would be a black eye.
The only remedy to be found.
Was to face up to the bully and stand your ground.

a threat is as good as an attack

when I was in grade school I was the smalles kid in school. the bully came up to me one day and got in my face, and as soon as he started telling me what he was going to do to me, I just reacted with a throat punch to his center neck. He went down. I didn't know then how dangerous that was, but once he could breathe again he never bothered anyone again.
