I remember a time when there was no cable tv.
Without a big antenna the only stations received were three.
And at the strike of twelve.
The stations signed off and folks dreamed of elves.

There were no Xboxes and computer scores.
Children had to play outdoors.
There was no Twitter or Facebook.
People used libraries and encyclopedias.
Nobody lived their lives on social media.
