On Final Step

Finally, it's about over,
This year will soon be in the past.
Just one more step,
To getting away from all this, at last.

I've been put through too much,
But this one pushed me over the edge.
Just one more step,
To throwing my body off this ledge.

A life of lies, deceit, and broken trust,
Is what was laid out before me.
I would have done this a lot sooner,
If I only knew how dark this world can be.

Just one more step,
To getting away from this bitch of a place.
One more step,
No longer will I be forced to see your evil face.

Now look what you've done to me,
You filled me with all this hate.
You should be the one to die,
But it's me, it's too late.

I'm waiting for someone who will save me,
But there's no one in sight.
I'm left here all alone,
Left to lose in my life's fight.

Just one more step,
To getting away from this bitch of a place.
One more step,
No longer will I be forced to see your evil face.

I've betrayed myself for the last time,
I need to let my soul be free.
One Final Step,
So now the world can just let me be.
