Man was having his chimney cleaned - the cleaner found a letter stuck in a crack inside the chimney and gave it to the old man. It was addressed to Santa.

It was from the old man's son to Santa, and he had stuck it inside the chimney so Santa would see it and get it.
In the letter he asked Santa for a bike for Christmas.

The old man never knew that his son wanted a bike, and never got him a bike.

Reading the note to Santa, the old man went out to shop, and he want to a store that sold bikes, and he bought his son a nice bike for Christmas, brought it home, put a big bow on it and parked it in front of the tree.

Then the old man sat down in his easy chair, looked at the bike and smiled, as he had put a big tag on the bike, "TO TIMMY FROM SANTA AND YOUR FOLKS".

Then the old man looked up at the mantle, where there was a picture of Timmy in uniform in the Middle East, right next to the triangular wooden frame that held his flag from his coffin.

But Timmy finally had his bike.....
