Lady doesn't speak hashtag or text
Definitely doesn't speak car
Doesn't speak emoji
She communicates verbally
Got something to say to her
Line's always open
Not by phone, not by email
But actual words that are spoken
Sincere to the bone
Often happy and alone
But will talk if a question's asked
Statement made or feelings shared
Doesn't take a whole lot of effort
To express love, concern and care
Communication is language
That is currently lost in translation
Need urban dictionary
To understand abbreviations
Real talk is old fashioned
And apparently outdated
Emotions are expressed through action
Save the pictures, she isn't persuaded
She doesn't need a liaison
Or representative to be her mouthpiece
When it comes from the heart
The heart will automatically release
By word of mouth, instead of something shown
On an Ipad or Iphone
She doesn't need a crowd
To manifest the truth of words said aloud
If you make her proud
It's all about discretion between the two
Not between the entire world and you
No need to buy a gift or two
Unless compelled to at random
But no need to overdo
Just be you

Birth and calendar days and dates
Come but once a year
But the heart doesn't let dates
Dictate when to love and appreciate
It's always out of the blue
At random, but still true
When you least expect it
Unlike sunrise, a real surprise
From the soul, never neglected
Joined at the hip, don't need a trip
Can enjoy hibernation and stability
Vacations spots will always be there
But a true, inseparable bond is rare
It's automatic, when you see this pair
You can almost spot them anywhere
The glow will be there
And like a breath of fresh air
Finishing each other sentences
Until no words are left to spare
Heart beats matching each others
Connected like conjoined brothers
This is what love does, what it's supposed to do
You're not supposed to help it
Even if you wanted to
