Rain crowds the air, gently falling to the ground.
Birds soar through this peaceful sky.
Wet cement dries leaving shades of grey.
Night slowly fades in through the clouds.
Street lights illuminate city streets.
I watch through my window....

I watch as the moon shows its face through a break in the clouds.
Cars drive by, going in oposite directions.
I sit and wonder where they're going.
Its really none of my business but i find it interesting.
I wonder how these people live thier lives.
Are they like me? or are they totally different?
The cars pass, like life passing by us every second.
Every minute passing.

I watch as the headlights glare into my room.
The light fades away like an open road.
Its the open road we take in our life.
The one that guides and takes us through our good and bad times.
I'll continue to look out my window and watch.
I'l watch time pass through this life.
