I Saw You

I saw you from the streetlight.
The light was red but all i saw was you.
I saw you on the bench, waiting for a ride.
You saw me and gave me a smile,
a smile that seemed to heal this bruised heart.
We made eye contact, everything stood still.
I saw a glimpse of us running through the rain, laughing.
We talked as if we knew eachther for years.
we told eachother our deepest fears.
Bt i was snapped iback into reality when i realized we are nothing more
than distant strangers.
I saw you sitting there, looking my way.
Nothing to say.
I saw someone approach you.
I saw you stand up and kiss him.
The light turned green as i just smiled and drove off

Mysterious

Sometimes mysterious things happen to us and we never shake those moments. Very haunting when you look into a stranger's eyes and feel as if you've known them for years.
Beautifully written.
