You Will Never Know

You dont know it, but your words kill me inside.
I put on my silent disguise.
You dont know it, but i know it all too well.
You wouldnt care anyway.
Last thing i need from you is pity.
Its like im trapped in a burning city.
The flames keep me alive, while i look for some place cold to hide.
But you wouldnt understand, so i wont bother wasting my breath.
You'll never know this feeling.
The feeling of being alone and telling your stories to the shadows.
They listen, atleast I would like to think they do.
Maybe i should stab myself with this pen.
Forget the ink, I'll write this in blood.
Would you understand then?
Probably not.
You wouldnt know where to begin.
But thats ok, because you will never know these feelings.
They are locked inside my bloody pen.
