I used to have a purpose but I'm fighting back the pain
There are times I lose myself and I feel so insane
It reminds me of a Christmas back in 1986
I remember it like yesterday despite not having pics
The sound of the paper, the glimmer of the light
I had one present left and I know that it felt right
I tore away the paper, right across the seam
Revealing the gift was an Omega Supreme!

I could not believe it, it's what I wanted most
The aroma from the kitchen was my mom making me toast
I went back to the tree to rip open my prize
But my gift was missing, I couldn't believe my eyes
My dad took it to the basement and he set it on a stand
He was shooting up my package, why I couldn't understand
He said I didn't want it because I left it by the tree
So he was teaching me a lesson and he put the blame on me

Now the story's turning darker, I'm losing all control
I tried to jump up in the way that's when I dug my hole
He knocked me to the ground, the basement floor was cold
He beat me half to death I was almost 5 years old
My bruised and broken body hid some pieces of my toy
I tucked them in my pillow case I was just a boy
The beatings went on through the years, he hated me the most
I longed for the day that I would die and be a ghost
