Yesterday's Watercolor
14 August, 2021
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

With just the slightest splash, the watercolor fades
How fragile, the world that it displayed
The beauty of what once was, washes away

I look remembering the wonderful colors
But as it fades away, it brings a new beauty
A melding abstract, exciting yet calm

New edges begin to appear
As if by magic, inspiration comes
And a new dream begins
