Yesterday's Horror Re Blossoms
25 August, 2022

Sorrowful faces, tearful hearts,
Sad time drifts by once again
To bring back painful memories and
hedious souvernirs.

Yesterday's scars left to heal
But they never heal properly.
Droplets of joy left to evaporate into the chill air,
Now totally vanish into the bleak vortex of emptiness.

Reds blues and whites flutter below USA's mournful skies;
Once again autumn gazes at the wounded nation,
Whispering it's sympathy in silent language.
