He may not be the fastest,
But he's definately not the slowest.
His legs might be crooked,
His lower lip hangs low,
Despite all this,
He gets to where he needs to go.
If you're having a bad day,
He'll listen quitely.
His brown eyes full of understanding.
He's got four legs instead of two.
Hooves instead of feet,
But he can have a bad hair day too.
He loves long naps in the sun
But he'll always wake up for a ride.
He seldom questions your decisions.
Some say he's the perfect man.
So, if you're having a bad day,
Talk to him.
He'll be the best friend you'll ever have.

thanks

I have two horses, and Bubba has the most personality that I've ever seen in an animal. This was written pretty much to him as a way to thank him for being there when I needed a big shoulder to cry on. (Even though I know he can't read it.)
