Hurt You

I see i made you cry
Not because i told a lie
Was it that I said goodbye
Or was it that I forgot to say hi
Never wanted to hurt you

I want so bad to dry your tears
Help you end all your fears
Make things right that went so wrong
Make your life anything but a country song
Never wanted to hurt you

Maybe it would be best if I left you
Possibly then your dreams would come true
With me no longer being around
There should be no reason for you to frown
I'm just trying not to hurt you

wow

I read this poem and it made me feel like I could totally relate...it was something I wish the one guy I loved would say to me, but he's a lost cause.
