As I walk into this wake I see sadness and sorrow
But as I look at your face I know there's a brighter tomorrow
As I look around this room almost every eye is crying
I try my hardest to be strong and I will keep on trying
As everyone pays their last respects and says their goodbyes
So many hearts are left broken in the wake of your demise
As family and friends gather to weep and to grieve
Just the thought of you being gone is still so hard to conceive
As I look at your pictures and remember your smile
I know the Lord was with you when you walked that last mile
As I think of you smiling down on us just as bright as you could be
Your memory eternally lives on We love you, B
