Fear
10 July, 2000
Author: Jenny

vinebar

The world before us lies still;
We dance at its feet;
We laugh at its danger among us.
We pray to God with fear,
Hoping that nothing bad is near.
We listen to the cries that are near,
Not knowing they are closer than they appear.
The love of God is with us
Even in times of trouble.
