A Samurai Spirit
9 January, 2004
Author: Josh

vinebar

A star dims slowly

He forsakes his teachings
Drawing on rage, he unsheathes his spirit
Lashing at his enemies, he focuses on his nemesis

At last, the time has come
The immortal conflict ensues

Their spirits, equally powered
Their bodies mangled
The nemesis falls in defeat

Sheathing his spirit, he looks upon the destruction
The death
The sadness
The pain
The sorrow

He falls in submission as he weaps apology
Begging forgiveness, he slowly stops weaping

A star fades out

True warrior spirit

It's easy to feel his spirit as he weeps for the fallen. Great poem.
