Burn Me
Author: Karen R. Springer

Burn me. Burn me.
Cremate and urn me.
Combust me with lust
until even heaven spurns me.
Firey fingers
that tantalize and torch me.
Palms like hot coals
that scandalize and scorch me.
So spear me. Sear me.
Cook me well.
Burn me. Burn me
hot as hell.

MmMmMm, very lyrical

This is an amazing piece of work, would you mind if I wrote a song out of it? It is just so inspiring.

Burn Me

I think i'll deliver this reading at the next cremation where I'm asked to say a few words. I'm undecided as to wear my smoking jacket or my blazer though......
